Sometimes a song comes on the radio that just grabs your ear and doesn't let go. And you go "man, I've never heard that song on the radio before, what was it?" Well, it was a classic rock station and they played this song called "Riding the Storm Out" which I later found out was by REO Speedwagon. I don't know what it is about the song that gripped my ear, but it did. Definitely a good one.
Riding the storm out Waiting for the fallout On a full moon night in the Rocky Mountain winter Wine bottle's low Watching for the snow I've been thinking about what I've been missing in the city
And I'm not missing a thing Watching the full moon crossing the range Riding the storm out Riding the storm out Riding the storm out Riding the storm out
Lady beside me She's there to guide me She says that alone we've finally found home The wind outside is frightening But it's kinder that the lightning life of the city It's a hard life to live but it gives back what you give
And I'm not missing a thing Watching the full moon crossing the range Riding the storm out Riding the storm out Riding the storm out Riding the storm out
(guitar solo)
And I'm not missing a thing Watching the full moon crossing the range Riding the storm out Riding the storm out Riding the storm out Riding the storm out
Riding, Riding, Riding the storm out

hmm...
Been enjoying A.F.I.'s new album December Underground.
I'd have to say the song "37mm" for my song of the day.
Fans of the band might be in a bit of a shock with this new album - they've really expanded their range of music style. Some of it is Pop-worthy, some good punk tracks, and some really retro - with more than a solid nod to The Cure.

Home Video - That You Might
Some great electronica, if you like Radiohead, i'm sure you'll like them. (The song is on my Myspace).

Green Carnation - 9-29-045
This song is amazing. The Acoustic Verses is definitely going to end up in my top ten for this year.
