Oh i didnt saw the "what not to expect" i think that is what i get for reading that at 1 am after playing all day... well thats good then, good thing i was wrong, though being compared to SO4 helped me to think it was bad, since SO4 doesnt haves its fame in it's story

And don't forget that these are early impressions based on a handful of hours of play, and it was said clearly that the story and characters were good SO FAR.  It remains to be seen whether the momentum continues, though Akira's post above mine indicates that it does. 

I'm sure we've all played games where the beginning was strong, but the middle and end portions were less so.  I'm sure we've also played games where the beginning wasn't stellar, but the middle and end portions were far stronger.  So in the case of Resonance of Fate it's good to hear from Akira that it starts good and stays good.

Keep going. Its never safe to give a Tri-Ace story a pass until the very end (in case of Dragon Ball-esque shenanigans or life is but an MMO crap).

I know but still, his review was fairly positive. I don't know if he's serious about that 9.5 but he seems to be getting a very positive vibe for the game. I really want this to be good.

Even if you rated it a 9.5 and it was horrid down the line, I would forgive you and still purchase it. You should just keep posting everything you find grand here and make it an impression thread. :D

I wonder what effect the customs clothes actually give you. Do they improve your stats or are they simply for looks?

Gotta say, I'm also excited for this. Infinite Undiscovery was a piece of shit and I can only sort of tolerate SO4, but this looks like it'll be sweet.
