OMG, I foresee the tear ducts getting a workout by the end of the game. I'm thinking "beloved dog dies at the end after heroic act" type sadness. This looks incredible.
Haha I like how this was a common reaction, especially given the sort of "grim nature" these games have had thus far.

I enjoyed the music that was played during the The Last Guardian clip on the ICO collection. I need to hear it again but it either sounds like Kow Otani is back or they want to use the same kind of theme for this game. I still hear traces of Gundam Wing and Outlaw Star when I hear the soundtrack for SotC.

not much to go by on this, and automated emails from gamestop are hardly the final work but it's been a while since "good" news has been revealed about this game

All I know is I've had this preordered for a year from Amazon and last I checked it said the release date is January, 2013. Heh.

I think they pick far off ones just to be safe. Though it definitely sounds plausible in this case!
And it'd take quite awhile for Amazon to cancel. Only just a few weeks ago did they actually tell everyone that Monado was cancelled and wouldn't be sold by them, though that was after the US announcement at least.

This is never going to come out. I actually don't care about it anymore, not one bit.
Though... I'm still more interested in seeing more about Versus XIII, and that might be because they have given more information and trailers to keep people interested in the game after all these years.

I honestly don't think any game should be in development for this long. And if there is a trailer

Yeah, I agree. But what can we do other than showing annoyance at how long both games have taken to come out?

It'll probably be a PS4 launch title, if it comes out at all:/

I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about, they want to take their time? Fine with me. Blizzard takes years to release their big games too, but when they do its a polished product that's usually worth the wait. I much rather have a well realised game than a rushed piece of crap that requires a day one patch like a lot of games these days.

Japanese development cycles have consistently been shitty this gen for big name releases. GT5, anyone?

The fuss is that with other games with long development cycles you usually get some decent news here and there. With the TLG it seems like we've been looking at the same trailer forever and have heard nothing but a development cycle that's troubled at best.
