I read on GAF that Sony has two months to extend the trademark. They could also let the name go and announce it with new one at E3, or any other big events throughout the year(s). This is not the first time that this happens with TLG though.

But for now... he's dead, Jim. :(

I honestly don't even care by this point.  If it's out, awesome, if not, I've basically forgotten about it.  As fantastic as it looked and still does, there's no point following it till it 'resurges' again.   IIRC, one of the creators keeps confirming it ain't dead, so there's that too.  *shrug*

For the longest time it has been a matter of believing, not caring. People involved in the project are the ones that have to care about making TLG a reality. I do wonder if whatever the concept they wanted to achieve with the game was too abstract to pull off, or there has been some kind of technical limitation getting in the way, or it has all been poor management in the end.

Basically.  It's just when I see TONS of comments following ANY blip of news on the game, I just kinda shrug it off I guess.

Yeah, I'm definitely curious what has happened to delay the game so indefinitely.  To me it sounds more like inner-politics screwing things up since I wanna believe Team Ico can accomplish anything, but that might not be a good attitude to take with it. :P

I'm a big fan of straight answers though, I hate a lot of these beat-around-the bush commentary and if it was more in-depth it'd probably make following the [non-existent] title a bit more interesting.

Checked the E3 trailer better since I catched almost the end of it in the stream.

I gotta say it looks as different and isolated SotC is to Ico. Even the same things anybody could assume that are done the same way, climbing, calling your partner and what not, they are clearly a different deal altogether in how it looks and seems to feel. Aside from that, is nice that things are kept simple and open-ended.

Also I'd say the impressions from these dudes from GameTrailers are not bad to listen to.
