is there any continuity(sp?) in the front mission games or do they all take place in seperate universes. on that note its a shame FM5 will probally see the light of day in the US.

They take place in the same world, yeah, but events from the previous games aren't referred to as anything other than a footnote in history.  No returning characters or anything of that nature.

Of course, I've only played the third and fourth games in the series.  The others might be different, but I doubt it. :P

IIRC the journalist from the first Front Mission plays a tiny role in Front Mission 4 :)
