Title says it all. I realize its both a low print run game and a fan favorite which pretty much spells high value. What I want to know is the game really worth that much....i mean seriously?

I'm only asking because I'm considering a purchase..though I've never played the game and Im understandably cautions about doping that kind of coin on a blind buy.

No game is unless that price is factoring in the hardware to play it. It is however a VERY good game, but I can't rationalize paying that much since there is the possibility that Konami will eventually wisen up and put the damn thing on the PSN, 1's already there.

There's no game that is worth that much money unless you're a crazy collector and need to have it in pristine condition. If you want it just to play it, then try and find it cheaper. I'm sure it'll come out on PSN eventually. Konami isn't making any money from people buying it off Ebay at inflated prices.

Man, it's up that high already?

I should consider selling my Suikoden collection, could probably get over a thousand for it. If I didn't love the series so much. :(

A quick look on amazon shows that you could pick it up for 110 (and possibly less on ebay if Amazon is 110).  The reviews are funny though.  "This game sucks just pick up FF7 its so much better!!11oneone".  God do I hate amazon reviews.

Suikoden 3 $54 from sellers $97 from Amazon itself.
Suikoden 5 $78 from sellers $112 from Amazon itself.

Me thinks it may be time for myself to cash in as well.

Keep in mind any idiot can list on Amazon for any price.  It doesn't mean they actually sell for that amount.  Or at least I sure as heck wouldn't pay that much for any of those Suikoden games.

It's been $150 for quite a while I think.

I wouldn't go for it unless it was $100 or less (preferably less).

$150+ is asking to be scammed.

I sold my original mint condition copy for $123.50 US + shipping maybe two-three years ago. It's actually something I sort of regret.

If it's worth it? I honestly say yes because it's a fabulous game. However anyone that pays that price will shoot themselves if it ever gets a PSN release.

You'd have to be desperate, or pretty stupid, to pay $150+ for a game. That game better be made of gold, or platinum. You know what, I should go out and start selling my Platinum Hits games for $2,000 a piece.

Suikoden 2 is worth everything you could possibly pay for it.

I'm still proud of the fact that I got my copy Mint for $20 years after it had gone out of print.

I know a way to get Suikoden 2 on the PSN. Basically I need to buy one of these expensive copies being hocked on the interweb...then litterally the next day it would be announced for PSN. Thats just my luck.

1. Learn Japanese
2. Buy the Japan-only enhanced port of Suikoden 1+2 for PSP on one disk for $30.
3. ?????
4. Profit!
