I was in the "Bioshock doesn't need a sequel" camp but man, the game really exceeded my expectations. I'm definitely getting the minerva's den dlc, I hear nothing but praise for it, people say the story's even better than the main game.

So I finally beat Chrono Trigger DS. I left it on the final boss for almost a year, dunno why it took me so long, but I'm glad I finally finished it. I got Ending 01 and it was great. I think I'll do the Post game stuff then do a new Game Plus this summer when I hopefully have fewer games to play.

Nier - I'm starting to understand why this game seems to have the following it does.
Now that I've gotten used to everything, I am enjoying it quite a bit. All those silly little side quests are addicting.
The soundtrack is so great. I look forward to visiting new areas just to hear what the music will sound like.
I'm wondering when I get to do something with all these seeds I've got. I want to grow some pumpkins!
Plus, I discovered last night that there is a weapon upgrade system in this game. I played through the Junk Heap scenario. Too bad the stupid game automatically upgraded the wrong weapon.
Tons of stuff to do. I'm hooked.

Beat the Book Boss in Binal Bantasy Bine.

As well as more bug fixing and refactoring of BRPG engine. I'm not even logging bugs I fix without encountering them in-game (in other words, stuff I see in the source itself). Also technically I need to handle player death better/at all but oh freaking well.

Played a bit of uncharted 2 multiplayer after an 8 month hiatus. Thought I was gonna get raped but I actually kicked some ass.

Still moving through Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Just got that damn feather.

Playing through Shining Force on my iPod touch. Doing a minimal character challenge thing. I'm at Metapha and working to level up Alef, Torasu, and Adam. Adam is a bitch to level up.

Played some Got my butt kicked in Melty Blood Act Cadenza. That boss is mad cheap, but otherwise it was a nice way to pass the time before bed.

Fired up a new game of Tales of the Abyss. Looks like I won't be getting Graces F for another month at least, so time to replay my favorite Tales game. Hour in so far.

Making my way through Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's great, I'm really liking just about everything in it. The combat is fun and smooth, and I love stealth attacks though I was hoping there would be more than there are. I really like making the baddies panic with a well-placed Batarang, or by taking a guy out and letting the others find him unconscious. I like the Riddler's challenges too, but I can't deny there are some I just don't get and don't bother with.

Oh, and Mark Hamill's voice-acting is the best he's ever done for the Joker. Can't wait to see what Arkham City brings about for the character.

So I went through a bunch of my DS games trying to figure out which ones to sell, but in the end, I couldn't find anything I wanted to get rid of. Out of 40+ games. Not bad.

I also found out that the mission I was stuck on in SJ can't be solved yet, so I'll just move on to the next area.

A BRETHREN.

Anyway still working on FFIX and Secret of Evermore. Can't really recall where I'm at in IX. SoE, just got back to Fire-Eye's place. Considering playing FFVII PC with some mods, maybe. I dunno. I haven't been out of this house in days. I wish I was back at my apartment.

Still working my way through Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's surprisingly long. For some reason I had it in my head that it was a fairly short game, but I've already put about 16 hours into it and it seems I still have quite a way to go. I'm also really enjoying the story. I like where it is going and I can't wait to see what happens in Arkham City.

Also played a bit of Bayonetta. It's really cool, even if it is a tad strange.

8:30 into TotA. About to leave Yulia City with just Luke and Tear. Man, this game goes by faster without the skits and just reading the dialogue instead of letting them voice it out the whole way. My first playthrough was 47 hours, this one will probably beat my Vesperia time of 41 hours. (Not trying to speed through it or anything.)

Mainly playing this because 1) my favorites Tales game and 2) to get used to an action RPG again before my copy of Graces F gets here.

Playing through FFIX (for the first time).  Only an hour in and it gives me warm, bubbly feelings.
