WOMAN UP, WOMAN. SHOW YOUR ANALYTICAL TITS TO THE WORLD! YARRR!

I'm not crazy. Shut up.

Edit: Holy fuck, the whole /.me command actually converts the text automatically.

You said wet noodle and I wanna go swimming.  Fuck you Canada and your 7 months of relatively shittier weather!!!!

Um; I don't have much of an opinion (if thats what you were asking).  I haven't lived in Japan. :P
I wanted to post it because Japan is such an *it* place right now with the gaming and anime craze that hit northern america (now more than before anyways).  SO I thought an article that tells people that it isn't all its cracked up to be a good read.  Obviously you take it with a grain of salt, and I'd still love to go.  And yeah, you can stretch some of his problems as happening cross-culturally.

The one thing that freaks me out is when art reflects life, and not the other way around.  When you see a Japanese talkshow have a cute, young hostess, clenching her fists, raising it up and going "yeah!", I roll my eyes.  Similarly, when you see bloody maid cafes.  From what I've learned about being Japanese....it sounds exhausting (I don't care to elaborate on that right now - homework).

Some of the themed restaurants/bars are pretty cool.  I was able to visit one that had a bunch of fake jail cells and they did a performance every hour about zombies escaping or something (The girls were scared so I guess whatever they said was semi-scary. I couldn't understand it enough to tell).  They also had bubbly alcoholic drinks in the same theme and served them in science beakers where you could mix your own drinks to make whatever you wanted.  It was pretty spiffy.

This site's running off of VB.net programming? That explains why nothing works around here.

You fuckers should've spent the extra time on C# instead of this nonsense.

What next, will the site's Go To(s) start showing?

You've misunderstood me. I just seek your death only because you're in the way of my goal of world conquest. I can't help it that I have evil ambitions and am named Dark Lord. Honest.

Me.  I don't work around here.  I'm just here because I look pretty in spandex.

And, yes, second article definitely read in a more thoughtful fashion than the first one, which felt like "vindictive divorcee."

This was in the photos thread.  Yes, I am one of those shaved-leg, lycra warrior cycling enthusiasts.  Heh, I'm actually 6-7 pounds lighter now.
