Also why is the female trainer for white/black look like she murdered Klonoa and made pants out of him?
That's a good thing! Klonoa was cool! :P

WOW, I thought I was the only that felt that too.
But yeah, I was being a bit facetious with the snowman thing. Haha. I feel like the leaf-starter is going to evolve into some majestic, pompous Pokemon in the end. Well, other than bantering starters, because that's all they are going to get, I'll let you know which I'll start with: The Pompous Pokemon.

What do you know? It does look like that. That's kinda sad. I loved Klonoa!!

Go, Klonoamon!
...that reminds me, I never did play the Wii remake of Klonoa.
Back on topic! I'm totally going with the Tsutaja. He has my favorite design since Cyndaquil.

Pokémon Black & White
take place in Isshu
, a region situated far from the ones we’ve seen in past Pokémon games.
At the centre of Isshu is Hiun City. "Hiun" means "ill fate" or "misfortune."
It can also refer to clouds flying through the sky. No doubt the name refers, in some way, to the plot and events that will surround the city.
The official site is up and running:

I must say that I haven't been so excited to play a Pokémon game since Pokémon Colosseum, good memories.

I'm probably going for Tsutaja myself, I like the design and I usually pick the Grass starter anyway.

I wonder if I should go with the grass starter too or maintain my fire starter tradition. No love for water either way for me. :p

Haha! The Internet hates the poor thing. But it's not our fault that this new Pokémon looks like an icecream.
But, don't worry.
there's people out there who loves the bastard.
I still think that Tsutaya is the classiest starter Pokémon to date and
Pokabu is Tsundere
and charming as hell.

I have a bit of a gut feeling that the water pokemon is probably going to get the coolest looking final form after that ridicule.

In comparison to what we have now, and after all these years, it looks quite awesome.

Looks like it pulls a battle animation similar to Castlevania : Order of Ecclesia. Parts of the body move, but not an actual moving sprite moving. Either way...the end result makes a (finally) fluid looking handheld pokemon battle system.

It saddens me that everyone is crapping on the Water Starter, I love him! I'll be picking him as my starter because he looks cool to me and I always pick the Water Starters on my first playthrough of any pokemon game.

Looking good so far.
I wonder if the games are going to come with something like the Pokéwalker from HG/SS, probably not.
