I think you pretty much exhausted your options there actually. And yes, Eternal Sonata is turn based.

Kinda like Tales, if Tales was even campier then it is now. If you're desperate for an action RPG and can find the game cheap you can go for it, but don't expect anything super spectacular.

Does it have to be a 360 title, or can we at least suggest some playstation 2 games ?
I've just seen, there's not
Infinite Undiscovery
on this list of yours. It's an RPG, not turn-based, but it has mixed reviews. I myself haven't played it, but check some video reviews of it on youtube, quite a number of people enjoyed it.

Then look at Demon's Souls for the PS3. It's one of the better action RPGs to have come out recently, and it just had a price drop too.

Demons Soul's won Gamespot game of the Year award, ahead of Uncharted 2, Batman and Assassin's Creed 2, so you can bet it's good.
And see what I've said about Infinite Undiscovery ? Mixed reviews. Only here one liked and the other wanted to vomit.
But if I were to take a chance, I'd go with Demon's Souls over Infinite Undiscovery any day.
There's Folklore on PS3. I can say if it's an RPG or adventure but I guess it leans more to the RPG genre. Not turn based, and from what I've played from the demo I liked.

From what I've played of it Folklore is about as much RPG as a Metroidvania is. Which is to say your mileage may vary. It's worth checking out in any case, as you can get it for dirt cheap these days.
Demon's Souls is a definite must-have if you own a PS3. There's no reason to not buy it, unless maybe if you're a wimp.

If your willing to put up with a the graphics I would suggest Deus Ex, while not truly RPG it is a PC FPS with RPG elements and widely considered one of the best games ever made. As for PS3, you can't go wrong with Dragon Age Origins, great story, setting and gameplay to boot.

I sort of feel the same way about Deus Ex as I do about SS2. Would've been better without all the RPG stuff in there. There was a time when I liked skill systems. That time is not now.
