does anyone else here watch this show?
I was disappointed with a lot of choices made this week in season 5
someone like Mary Ellen gets through to hollywood but not Michael Grimm
that woman went over by at least 10 minutes this week but still got went on even though he probably didn't go nearly that long.
rapping white boy boy got through but not Connor Doran
Carlos Aponte didn't get picked for hollywood and reminded me a little of Susan Boyle
this one is so bad it's good, with a cameo from pedobear.
and some ones I like but a lot of people think suck, airpocalypse and Chips Cooney
ironically, a most recent video of chips was deleted from the official america's got talent channel by a company that produces this show
this season also has quite a few "cute" boys that probably about 70% of all females that watch this show would automatically vote for without taking actual talent into consideration.
this will probably be the last season i watch this show since it's starting to suck more than american idol.
some really good acts from previous years that were voted off by audience:
nuttin but stringz, classical violin/hip hop act
recycled percussion, guys beating on recycled stuff but sadly with poor sound quality
grandma lee, a comedy act
kaitlyn maher, moeified version of an act that people would vote for 'cause she's so effin CUTE

Yeah... there were some weird (a word that here means "terrible") choices.  I loathed the Indian guy who does the "impressions."  I didn't get the feeling that he was trying to be funny, but that's the way they took it.  And even if he was trying to be funny, he was still AWFUL.  Not funny in the slightest.

I liked airpocalypse too, though, so you're not alone. :)

And I'm surprised that Carlos Aponte didn't make it - he was really good.

(My wife really likes this show, so I got sucked in.)

yeah, i get a feeling that he got by only because he tried really hard to make it funny and people wanted desperately to believe that it was funny D:
and I should probably ask this now for anyone that watches talent shows like this (britain's got talent, etc), is judging this bad in those countries?
