Hmm, though I wonder if they could do the same thing as Digital Devil Saga's LE and produce a box for the Trails in the Sky trilogy?
That would be very cool as one of the bonuses, the Trails in the Sky/Sora no Kiseki trilogy is what I'm really looking forwards to, though I'm looking forwards to Ys too.

So, is time to post some news about Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki and Zero no Kiseki.
Falcom has been uploading a lot of videos about the game, and everything is gameplay; Hope you enjoy:
Video 1
Video 2
Video 3
Video 4
Video 5
Also,
the main characters from Zero no Kiseki (the sequel to the Sora no Kiseki trilogy) will appear in Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki.
About Zero no Kiseki, this is already old news. But Falcom is looking for 30 voice actors. Since this series has been always know as "Story RPGs" is normal at this point to see so much care for this aspect of the games.
Of course, this two titles are going to be available this year just in Japan.

Was just coming in to post about this because Destructoid has a picture of it.

Figured this would be the best place to ask...
What are the music options in Ys 1/2 Chronicles? I know there's the new version for the PSP, PC-88, but is the Complete music available too?

I don't know how right this is, but a guy on another forum said this,
"The PSP version contains three selectable soundtracks: the original, PC-8801 audio, the Ys I & II Complete editions and a brand new arranged score, created specifically for this version. Arranged by Yukihiro Jindo, who does most of the arranging duties for Falcom these days."

I'm sure you're mostly all aware at this point, but the Special Edition is up on Amazon.

They didn't change the box art? Huh... oh well, doesn't matter. Still is a good looking package for a PSP game.

I don't mind it. The original cover wouldn't really encourage casual buys.
Maybe we'll get a reversible cover anyway, who knows.

What? Did you want everyone to have a scowl or something?

Well, Fragile (you know, that Wii game) got a reversible cover and it was published by XSeed right? So maybe there's a possibility for that to happen. Either way, I will buy the game as soon as I can.

Sony seem fairly friendly on that front too. Failing a proper reversible cover like Dissidia had they could just print the original art on the inside cover, or something similar to decorate it.

Leaving aside the issue about the box art and all that, what do you guys think about
this
?
