Go figure, Xenodurr actually inspired my sig quote. And I just know I'm not the only one to think of that when renaming Toran castle. My favorite part is still "Eh, you can only get so angry at a girl who gets beaten up by an imp." One part a day, I'm reading.
that's surprising to me
maybe just because I have a billion or so favorite quotes from this

thus far, my favorite part is this summary of Nisan.
Quote
It should be noted that the Nisan Church is not the same as the Ethos Church that we have been hearing about so far. The Nisan Church is groovy and believes in women being priests and gay marriage, and they are not so much about digging up robots.
LOL
EDIT --

Zoom-in on ChuChu was epic. This is the greatest website ever.
DOUBLE EDIT --
New fav quote! ALREDDDy!!
Quote
According to legend, God could have made humans perfect, but then they would have attacked Him with giant robots or something, so he nerfed them so they would have to depend on each other to... fly. ...Sorry, that metaphor got away from me.

Fair enough. I'm the type who tends to more remember quieter moments. Like the Lord of the Rings trilogy of movies had so many amazing parts of grandeur, epicness, and pure unadulterated awesome, yet my absolute favorite part was still this exchange by Merry and Pippin:
"That, my friends, is a pint."
"I'm gettin' one!"

I got another one... the alt text caption (mouseover) for the Rico vs dinosaur image here:

Remember that episode of Oz with the lady who got to choose her own method of execution, and she wanted to be hanged, and everyone was like, 'oh, wow, we haven't hanged anyone in thirty years! But we have to hang her because that's what she wants!' Is that a thing? If that is a thing then if I ever end up having to be executed, I would choose dinosaur. It would be both awesome and physically impossible.
AND another winner...this time on page 16

They wank on for a while about what happiness really is and whatnot. If you have seen any anime ever or have gotten stoned with philosophy majors, you have heard it before.
TRIPLE EDIT OMGOMGOMGOMG!~!!!!!!!!

Fei and Elly are not sure what to make of these weirdos who have rescued them, but the scales tip in the weirdos' favor as they are quickly escorted to a beer hall. The captain explains that they are salvagers, and right now they are working on a major job with the Ethos here in Aquvy. Fei is not really thrilled to hear about the Ethos, but it turns out that these islands are where the Ethos headquarters are, so he better get used to it. Hoo boy.
We now embark as what is popularly known as the Portion of the Game That Is Really Offensive to Catholics.
Bold added by me because OH MY GOSH THAT'S HILARIOUS. I love this website and want to marry it and be one with it. Small of Two Pieces I am>>>>!!!!!HIUF
I am going crazy over this site.
another catholic win

Elly, Bart, and Citan head to the Vatican, as the world map conveniently knows where that is. Billy has beaten them there, so he is presumably putting about in a little boat, or swimming, or... something. Anyway, he got us an interview with the church's Medical Technicians' Guild! The Vatican has a crazy space-age hospital in the basement, just as Dan Brown has been trying to warn us.

I'm surprised the only one of those I recognize was about it being really offensive to catholics
but I agree that they're all amazing
I love this part
"So when we last saw our heroes, they were all dead! Again! We should probably stop pretending to fall for that. But for the official count, for a long time Fei was alive and Bart was believed dead, and now Fei is believed dead and Bart is alive. So the shounen protagonist battle now stands at 1:1. The shounen protagonist battle is far from over."

oh good
I hope you won't laugh it off permanently
that would be a problem
and you should really congratulate the person that made this
they don't seem to have an email address listed on there at all but they did put a link to their
twitter thingy
and a flattering quote regarding Rico from part 13 "This narration has seen its fair share of ridiculously people-sized air ducts in fiction, but an air duct big enough to accommodate Rico has got to be freakish. What the hell kind of air molecules do they have in Nortune?"

And once again, my favorite parts are the stupid ones like "Fart Aerods" and Fei thinking about crepes. Fave is still Elly getting beaten up by an imp. Elly as a lazy slacker girl works too freaking well.
This thing is too flippin' awesome. Website of the Year for 2010, that's for sure.

Citan rents a sandbuggy and tells Fei to go hit the bars or something. The guy at the sand-buggy shop tells Fei there are pirates in the desert in a sand cruiser also after wrecked robots! They are totally dangerous! People should not head out into the desert by themselves for any reason!
And you didn't mention that before he left because...?
Because he's a businessman, Fei!

"Goodness, you have such beautiful eyes!"
"What?"
"BWANGWONGWANGWONG"
Is that the Hypnotoad noise or porno music? This narration is bad at sound effects.

whoa, I'm still only a little more than halfway through it, including parts i skipped to.
it seems to get updates once a months or so
or maybe every couple of months
it gets very erratic but you could probably try to guess how often it get updated
http://www.whatdoesgodneedwithastarship.com/updates.html
or use that twitter thing, I posted a little while ago on this thread
assuming you use twitter
maybe I could post a completely new thread each time it has something new
but that would probably get me banninated

Making a completely new thread everytime would be crazy but I don't think anyone is going to complain if you post here.

Yeah, and by now, any of us who want to keep up with Xenodurr probably have it bookmarked and check in regularly. I myself read 1-2 chapters a day so I check in pretty often.
I'm at the Thames/Aquvy part. And despite all the intellctual funny, my favorite parts are still the imp and the fart aerods.
