Hey guys,

I'm new to the forums so I figured I'd jump right in and talk about a new game I recently picked up.

Has anyone picked up/downloaded Hexyz Force for the PSP yet?  I tried searching for it in stores but couldn't find it and ended up buying it off of the PSN.  So far, I'm really enjoying it.  It's a turn bases RPG but with a couple neat features built into the battle system.

If anyone has picked it up, what do you think?  For those unaware of the game, here is the box art and official site:

I reserved it at Gamestop and they still don't have it in. Bastards.

I was in the same boat and ended up canceling the preorder. Something is up with them and the game.  I don't know if there was a shipping issue or what, but when I went to Gamestop, they checked their system and their next order and it was nowhere to be found.

Yeah, there are complaints about gamespot and this game in atlus's forums D:

Still this game is great, what else can i say? xD is STING, ATLUS quality, 100% buy for me :D i just wonder, because there are various endings, if i can make the 2 main characters end together >8D  even if levant (dude main character) already has a girl on him

And there is already a review of the game o.0 http://www.rpgfan.com/reviews/Hexyz_Force/index.html

You should post it up here

Yeah!  Read my review.  Then I'll feel worthwhile:P

Was Hexyz Force the best RPG I've played thus far this year?  No.  Was Hexyz Force the most fun RPG I've played thus far this year?  Absolutely.  What paths are people doing?  I myself did Cecilia's path and did some of Levant's before starting my next RPGFan project.

I started out with Levant, i took like 10 minutes to choose between cecillia and him xD but ended up choosing him... im wondering who the spear user will be =o..., also i know there are multiple endings, but it mostly depends in this balance between destruction and creation, and this is what your answers change, then i imagine there are just 2 endings for each MC o.o

Good thing Atlus actually wants to support the PSN

The third parties aren't required to have their games released on PSN, and given the availability in stores it's a very good thing Atlus put this up like they did, regardless of where you live.

Their website lists the release date as 6/1 now, though how reliable that will be is anyone's guess.

I've ordered it after having read the review here and having checked it out before on the official homepage. It should arrive next week, but I'll probably not get to play it much at the moment. The week after perhaps. I already know I'm going to start out with the guy. I always do XD

Hexyz Force is one of those rare dual protagonist games where I think the guy arguably has the better storyline than the girl.  The girl has very good development over the course of the game, though.  Then again I always pick the girl when given a choice anyway.  In Kartia (which I mentioned in my review), I chose Lacryma first and found her storyline more compelling.

Time for me to pay the Atlus Tax again (There might as well be one on my paycheck, since there's always an Atlus published game I want on payday). :P
I'll most likely pick it up some time over next weekend, once I finish 3D Dot Game Heroes and Trauma Team.
