Really like the song, parts of it are actually very different sounding from Maiden's norm which means it's probably a Jannick song which isn't a bad thing at all. I hope the album is more of this stuff. Looking forward to it greatly.

Honestly, I haven't listened to anything newer than Brave New World (2000 album), so I'm not familiar with Maiden's newer works.
However, I can say that El Dorado actually wasn't too bad. I liked it. Actually rather interested in the upcoming album now.
I miss Eddie on the album covers. :(

Me too, I bought that one when it was released. It was pretty good. After that I just lost interest.

I don't particularly care for this song.
Then again, I haven't cared for any of the first songs they've revealed since Bruce and Adrian rejoined, so I'm still assuming the whole package will be awesome. :P

I'm basically the same way. I really enjoy the actual albums but the single is generally my least favorite or the song I don't care for much.
-Run To The Hills -I really hate this song
-2 Minutes To Midnight
-Wasted Years
-Can I Play With Madness
-The Wicker Man -I prefer the original Judas Priest 1978 version

I'm gonna get slapped for saying this, but I think "Can I Play With Madness" is a great song. Is it metal? No, but it's great classic rock in a kind of The Who vain... can't argue with that. Never understood why everyone hates it so much. Only discovered it a few years ago (not when it came out).

My problem with Can I Play With Madness is the constant chorus its said too much. Not enough song/music.
Although the 2:22-3:00 part is awesome. If the song was made longer with more twists and turns it would probably be really great.
Yet The Angel & The Gambler doesn't bother me like Can I Play With Madness...
I don't hate Can I Play With Madness...I just don't care for it much and replay value of the song is very low.
I also don't like that its played live so much either.
The Maiden song I do hate is Run To The Hills.
Judas Priest also has songs that get very old QUICK that I hate like Living After Midnight.

The music video for The Final Frontier (as in the song) is out. It's on Maiden's website.

I got it today. I'm REALLY impressed. This is some of their best work in years. I bought the LE steel case just for a hoot.

I just got a copy of it today, and I'm trying not to spaz out in an orgy of fanboyism and look at it objectively, but I would definitely say this is their best one since "Brave New World". I can see this worming its way into my top three Maiden releases.
To be honest, it's already made more of an impression on me than "A Matter of Life and Death"
ever
did.
