250gb HD
Wifi
Less noisy
More reliable hardware

for $300

I know a lot of you guys were holding out because, well, the xbox 360 is unreliable as hell. But this chibi edition sounds nice :}

I've really been considering a PS3 slim to take with me on the road, but now I'll have to choose between that and the new 360 slim.  No idea which one I want...  Well hey, maybe they'll drop the price on the PS3 slim!

Natal is pretty small if you see it in person

I think it's pretty sexy.  The built in Wi-fi, larger hard-drive and drastic noise reduction has me looking at my current elite system with some disdain. Me wantee.

Its what it should have been from the beginning, now they "give" these features to us.

That is just hardware marketing man.

Nintendo Black Wii with Wii motion Plus.
Nintendo DS Lite with its slim design
Nintendo DS XL with its Large screen
Nintendo 3DS with its 3d graphics
Sony PSPgo with its downloadable games
Sony PS3 with it's... uh.. slimness

I might give it a go. My 360 is imported, so if it does end up dying, I'm not even sure if MS will take care of it here. And if that's the case, I'll just import the slim version the next time around.

Maybe... there isn't too many games that I want to play from the Xbox 360 catalog to be honest. Besides, the Xbox 360 doesn't have Metroid: Other M or The Last Guardian. :3

Got mine too recently for that! Almost makes me regret it, but objectively the biggest things going for it are the AUX port for Kinect and the Wi-Fi, the former of which I may never get and the latter not that useful for my set up. Also the quieter DVD drive, but with installs and a 250 gigabyte hard drive it's easily circumvented.

The only thing that rubs me the wrong way is finally adding built-in WiFi. There was no excuse for the original model to not have that feature. Then again, Sony is even worse marketing the PS3 originally for it's HD capabilities, and then not packaging it with any HDMI or HD Component cables.

But I digress. If I somehow end up with $300 I don't need, and I've already upgraded my computer, I might think about getting it.
