if you force wii mote "shake" controls on the new zelda game you will not be getting my money. i recently finished tales of symphonia and i used the wrong move so many fucking times for moves set to shakes.

All this obsession with motion controls bothers me. Its such a gimmick. It will be a long time before motion controls replace regular controllers.

i actually think that will never happen for games that are in the domain of hardcore gamers.

This is exactly what I've wanted with a Wii Zelda after Twilight Princess was announced. But hey, your loss in my gain!

Doesn't seem that much slower than Zelda normally is, a lot of that is due to an on stage demo screwed up by interference or whatever.
Hands-on impressions
have been much more positive.

some games will probably be made without it even once all or most regular console games have it just because a lot of people are stubborn and refuse to convert to motion sensor games, like some refuse to download as opposed to getting a physical copy of a game
even by that time, companies will probably keep selling controllers with systems like wii has
and i thought iPhone just had a touch screen, not a motion sensor

Why don't you wait to play the game before mentally fucking yourself with abrupt conclusions? Twilight Princess worked fine with Motion Controls. So did Mad World. It's doable.
