I just finished Chapter 2 last night and while I do like the mechanics and innovative puzzle solving needed, and of course the vocals absolutely crack me up, it hasn't "grabbed" me yet. I mean I am enjoying it but I'm not overwhelmed with it (yet). Of course it is still pretty early in the game...

In Chapter 6. Really digging the game. Only had to look up a walkthrough once so far, and I felt dumb for not yet having the answer.
Same thing happened to me - looked up one or two, then proceeded to feel stupid.

Ahhh! I got it now! Yeah, I remember something about that. Yeah... that's weird, kinda fantasy-land, even for Portal, but it made for the cool ending it did.

Don't worry, you're not alone in that regard. I was moving at a snail's pace through Portal 2 in the first few chapters over several days playing it in short bursts. The game really takes off later on and I ended up getting hooked at a certain point enough to see it through completion without stopping.

Yeah, the game starts off very much like a continuation of Portal 1, then moves into new territory from there, until the puzzles become absolutely mindblowing

Probably I'm going to finish the game tomorrow, these puzzles are messing with my mind.
Also, the
"Portal 2 - The Final Hours"
is now on Steam.

Look what a friend of mine just got:
I wish she would tell me where she got it from! And she lives in a different continent from mine so I can't even offer her to trade it in exchange for cake.

Got the game for my birthday. Awesome. Up to chapter 8 and still enjoying it a a lot.
I'm down for co-op if anyone is interested. I have the worst version of the 3 (360), but if anyone else wants to play after I finish the game, I'm game

I don't know why everyone hates on the 360 version. So what if it has some jaggies (you never notice them really) but it has the better shadows and lighting.
on the portal 2 site they have the soundtrack for free download.

That's the version I played, and it wasn't a problem for me either. And thanks for the info - I'm totally downloading that!

It doesn't bother me either. I think the game looks fine, but I figured most people probably have the PS3/PC versions.
