I, for one, can't wait. Ocarina of Time is my favourite game ever and I'm so excited by the thought of being able to take it with me wherever I go. I've played it countless times and never gotten sick of it.

It looks like the graphics (apart from the 3D, of course) seem to have a noticeable upgrade from the screenshots. Do you guys think there will be any other changes in terms of gameplay? I wonder if they'll bring in touch screen controls and, if they do, how will they work?

Maybe they can include some loving enemies in Future Hyrule Field.

Or maybe make it so that the enemies that actually are there become somewhat menacing somehow.

I agree, but it's been the tradition to throw Zelda topics here so I may as well.

Yeah, I was surprised when you moved it! As I posted it in misc. games initially.

It's probable that another editor would've done it anyway and they're just too busy with E3 to notice or even see it. If they really wouldn't have cared though... well hey maybe things will change!

Though that'd probably lead to an ugly "IS ZELDA AN RPG OR NOT!?" argument, so probably not.

I just simply like the idea of a portable OoT.

Gotta agree with Stealth here, Master Quest (Gamecube) was the shit. Not sure I need to play this again on 3DS...

Ya know, I beg to differ. I found the Master Quest not very exciting. A lot of the puzzles in MQ are easier, just weirder. Instead of expending effort to swing yourself up waterfall platforms, you have to just find one hidden target that the designers just put in a strange place, or hookshot a key out of a mirror. I didn't find these kinds of things particularly interesting or exciting. It felt more self-referential than anything, as if the developers had a field "breaking" the level editor. It's sort of the Lost Levels of the Zelda series, except that I found the original OoT more challenging. It would be cool if they put BOTH on the cartridge though, for shits and giggles.

You left out the part where they made a bunch of switches into cows' asses.

That said, it was kinda like that in the Original's 2nd Quest as well. It starts out much harder due to facing Glerocs and Darknuts by level 2 but level 9 is a breeze compared to 1st Quest's version.

Theres only 1 thing that would get me excited for this and its the smart thing to do.

Add a temple for the light medallion like we were suppose to have but didnt because they ran out of time. I think that new element alone would be a huge draw

if this was in misc. i think Mike(dios brother) would of spazzed out! as for this game i dont care i dont care! unless there some sizeable new content since i beat OoT like 5 times on 64 and a couple more times on GC. like if there was a dungeon where you play sheik that would be good enough to get me to play it again.

I don't think he'd care that much actually, I more likely see Mark moving it if left ignored or something.

Anyways! I'd be a sucker and get it again, Zelda games are usually ones I enjoy replaying and while I got distracted I was enjoying my last playthrough of OoT. May as well not bother now that this is almost certainly due to hit.
