So please enlighten me on who exactly this game is for and what it is going to offer. Because as far as I can tell, this game offers nothing besides wandering in a desert.

Good, you seem to know exactly what the game offers. Why is it so hard for you to understand that some people are excited about this? We seem to have absolutely no problem understanding that you think this is boring.

Stunning.

Current-gen should last quite a while as long as companies push unique art styles like this, el shaddai, catherine, etc.

This game looks incredible. Watching the interview, this seems to be a very forward thinking and more importantly, relevant title what is actually happening in our world. I would love to play and own this, but I doubt I will ever have the chance.

Needless to say, I'm buying this game day 1. I've always been fascinated by video games that try something new to experience, so this is perfect for me.

I also like the setting a lot

The setting makes me dream of an amazing and well executed Dune game.

Yeah, now all they are talking about is this Beta nonsense. I have no intention of playing it online, so this means nothing to me. Plus, they still haven't said when the game is supposed to be coming out. A couple weeks? Fall? ???

Why not? Looks like it's a major part of the experience.
