DoOneNiceThing.com

Neat site, just started poking around it. Two stories of note that may cheer up some people's day whether it's good or bad:

Teddy Bears for African Children

Of Note:

Quote
They held a toy-making event, resulting in nearly 100 teddy bears (materials kindly donated by Build-a-Bear) that were distributed at the Edendale Hospital Pediatric Ward, and the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Orphanage, both in Marianhill, South Africa.

Bet you those are some happy children right now.

Books donated to children

Guy dedicates himself to educating children with what he does best. Admirable.

Teddy Bears for Terrorist attack victims

Yeah, lot of teddy bears huh? It's funny how much joy they can really bring to children. People like this are the real heros of our time.

I of course, encourage people to poke around the site and check it out. Might make you feel a little better.

Thanks for the link. I agree, giving-people like them are the difference-makers, ultimately. I'll check it out more thoroughly later.
