This is being reported here and there on the internet. Sucks for Namco-Bandai, but maybe this'll force them to actually make good decisions for once.

This is what happens when you have two separate Tales teams churning out game after game every year. Tales of Graces (the last mothership title from Team Destiny) was one of the lowest selling Tales games in Japan.
Not that it was horrible, its battle system was fun but the game ended up lacking in content and other things.

I think an approach similar to Final Fantasy would work best, MAYBE every so often you bolt out installments rapidly, but instead most of the time they take the time between installments to put out a quality game. Not even blowing the same budget, just wait a year or two to give people an appetite for it, if every game were insanely different then it'd be more easily justified to keep churning them out like this.

But it is a secret to everybody.
But what isn't a secret is that it might behoove Namdico to maybe try to make an effort to selling their RPGs outside of Japan (or at least make more of an effort to let other people localize their RPGs).

I think the escort titles Namco has made by other teams/developers are the bigger problem.

This is what namco bandai gets for not localizing so many potentially good tales of games, also re-releasing tales of graces must had been hard, again, this is what they get for rushing up to release it for christmas

What is a gamer? Ineeded, 'tis the question.
I wonder who first discovered the power of gaming in driving away love and friendships?
Yet, I thought that gaming was the food of love, when paired with another whom also understands it's joy. But perhaps if it is only a vague inclination I'm convinced a poor mind to play will kill this love stone dead.
So what I recommend to encourage affection; 2 player or more co-operative gaming, even if one's partner is barely tolerable.
.... Anyways.
I also think that even the Tales Fanbase is sick of playing Tales of Phantasia, remastered, for the 48th fucken' time.

Doubtful. When you oversaturate a market the way NB has with its yearly mothership title releases, you end up alienating fans. Plus, the move to port Vesperia with bonuses to the PS3 did not engender any endearment towards them from either Japanese gamers, most of whom bought a 360 to play the 'exclusive,' or 360 owners who didn't expect their version of Vesperia to turn out inadequate. They probably planned to capture a wider audience with a Wii release, but the Vesperia port coupled with other ports they've done in the past (such as the Symphonia GameCube to PS2 one) probably made a lot of gamers expectant that they would port Graces to the 360/PS3.

This is one of the dumbest reasons I can see anyone think of. Traditionally, Tales games have sold abysmally in the States (with the one exception being Symphonia, because Gamecube had next to no RPGs at the time of release). I'd actually be surprised if they ever made any significant profit at all; I'd say they probably lose money from selling Tales games in the west. Fans like you constantly bitch and moan that Tales games never come over here but when one does they don't buy it - or they pirate them. They have nobody to blame but themselvs.

I've been hoping for quite a while that vesperia port would be released in north america.
I've almost completely forgotten about tales as a series instead of just those three that i have and it's deeply depressing

No, they didnt sell "abysmally" as you said, the only ones that sold badly were the portable ones, and if you say i "pirate" games and bitch about this just because one post, then i see why your little mind think they sold "abysmally", if i say this is because i buy them and also because i enjoy tales of games, why namco bandai is ignoring most of them and going for dragon ball, naruto, cooking mama, etc? is obviously because these mainstream games are easily sold to the masses, making them to win more money, easier than taking risk just to please a fan base, and i think this is totally wrong, for example thanks to Atlus always bringing the SMT series, ive always try to get any other game they release so i can support them, but now the only games i buy from Namco Bandai are the Naruto games, and just because i like Naruto.
