Was there anything interesting to come out of this E3?

By the look of it, the 3DS will completely blow outta the water every other system that is accustomed to having a RPG library. Of course, big name games are guranteed to continue on the bigger systems, but any RPG lover is bound to end up getting a 3DS.

E3 didn't have that much for the JRPG gamer on consoles.On the WRPG side,I look forward to Dungeon Siege 3,Fallout NV,ME2/DAO DLC,Deux Ex 3,and The Witcher 2.

As for JRPGs nothing has my attention apart from Atelier Rorona.And that Koei RPG...uhh Trinity Zill'Oll? Or something like that.

back to earlier, if you can tell me how to get PSP on my tv with a PS3 controller I'll be a happy gamer willing to have your babies.

As Eusis mentioned the PSP Go can do this, as it has bluetooth support.  But you said you already had a PSP so if you don't want to buy a whole new system that's restricted to direct-downloads then can I suggest a grip accessory like I mentioned in my post?  No, it's not a PS3 controller but it can be just as comfortable as one.  Really makes a huge difference.  I can't even play my PSP without it.

The 3ds and the psp have the graphics of a ps2 so why is it a sad thing? and the ds at least in japan has amazing rpgs.

Seems like a great list for the beginning of the 3DS life cycle. Usually in the beginning there are few games that I am interested in.

Its not sad at all.

It's sad because some of us would much rather play games on a full-sized console rather than a tiny, uncomfortable handheld.  Especially RPGs which can eat up huge quantities of time.

More cost-efficient to make them on handhelds. We saw this with the DS and going forward with a tight economy I'm sure the same will happen with the 3DS. As for playing it on the small screen, I do agree that sucks, that's why PSP is awesome for allowing you to hook it up to the TV. And why Nintendo needs to figure out a way to make this happen.

Something to keep in mind with the 3DS lineup: do you guys remember prior system launches where a bunch of titles are announced, but they don't actually come out? You can still see some of the remnants of this on the Release Dates page with Makai Wars on the PS3 and Vandal Hearts on the DS. I wouldn't consider any of those announced games to truly be existing until either A. something is actually shown for them, or B. when asked the developers actually give some information about them.
