Mistwalker isn't a full development studio, they're just a bunch of game gurus and designers.
Of course Sakaguchi closely guides the project, until the late stages where he just goes back to Hawaii and chills in his beachside coconut treehouse.

Well, given the attention that Last Story is getting and specifically the attention NOA seems to be giving it, I don't really think there's going to be much of an issue of it coming out here.
But we didn't get Soma Bringer and A.S.H., so who knows. I certainly HOPE we get Last Story, because what little I've heard sounds fantastic.

They didn't even mention the games at E3 though.
Of a game that has already been released in Japan.
Not even a few seconds on a goddamn highlight reel.

I'm
thinking
that both Xenoblade and the Last Story are higher profile releases than Soma Bringer and A.S.H. were, plus I've heard A.S.H. just wasn't very well received. Missing Soma Bringer was kind of annoying though.
Well, at least Nintendo's actually got a fairly packed release schedule this time. Missing some of these games when they had nothing to put out anyway was pretty frustrating!

I'll note. It's possible Nintendo's playing it safe and waiting to see sales first, and even then we might have a long localization to wait on just because Zelda WILL decimate its sales if released too close to it.

Hasnt Monado been on NOA's schedule since the beggining?
after scoring a 36/40 from Famitsu and being the top selling game in japan for weeks. I doubt they would pass up a chance to make more money

didn't nintendo announce that xenoblade would be localized already?
last story looks like it'll definitely get localized since it seems more hyped up than blue dragon and lost odyssey

Now that these guys mention it...Nintendo DID actually announce that they were going to bring over Monado. They revealed it last year and said we were getting it.

A.S.H. was shit, and Soma Bringer was too low profile.
Still hard to tell for Xenoblade and Last Story though.

The game looks interesting so far, but I don't see that The Last Story is going to be god on earth or something along those lines (but, you never know). I've read
really
good things about Xenoblade.
But I do not care at all that game.

xenoblade looks like like it has a confusing battle system D:
most of those spider things seemed to be doing not very much at all.

Both of these games look interesting and would probably be something I'd pick up, if not for the fact that they're Wii titles. I have a Wii, actually, but I never use it--I just have absolutely no interest in turning it on and playing a game.
Also I'd be much happier if Mistwalker created a damn PS3 title for once. I'm in the minority with this, but Lost Odyssey is one of my favorite JRPGs for this generation, and I'd be stoked to play something like it again.
