The little one-liners and stuff the characters deliver with every single attack are already starting to annoy me in Japanese.  Just imagine what that will be likely with an English dub.

Not that other games don't do the same thing, but the frequency is on a completely different level here.

seems like they inflated the hit points, they just kept swinging, and swinging...

anyone else get a white knight vibe from the video?

I love imagining games in real life.  I think I'd be the next internet phenomenon if I shouted "SPECIAL ATTACK!!!" before a jump kick.

See, even though that's a friggin montage video it still doesn't hit with Xenoblade's frequency.  Maybe because the actual attack animations are longer.

I will be pissed if neither of these games ever see the light of day in america.

Xenoblade/monado was taken of NOA's schedule, leading to a cancellation speculation
And mistwalkers games are 50-50 to begin with

Xenoblade (or Monado on Nintendo's website) has been taken down from their official site which was the last sign of hope for me. I'm sort of a Nintendo loyalist, but screw them.

Admittedly I don't think they would've called it Monado anyway here, so I wouldn't worry TOO much over that alone. Though this long silence, geez. If they're going to start publishing more and more text heavy RPGs in Japan they need to either loosen up about localizing more or outsource (more) for their localizations while keeping the biggest games in-house.
