Huzzah. Now all we need is confirmation from a better site and we're good to go.

I don't trust any localization news unless there's a second opinion somewhere (granted they'll most likely site the very same source but there'll be additional investigation as to whether or not it's a hoax or just a mistake, and that's when I'll rest assured).

There is no reason whatsoever not to release Xenoblade in North America. It's already being translated for Europe! Nintendo seems to have something against Monolith Soft, as their last game in North America seems to have been Baten Kaitos Origins.

No, a few RPGs they've done for Namco Bandai were brought over too... but otherwise no, there hasn't been anything. If Nintendo's going to pass up this many games than they need to start actually licensing it to others to publish, unless they're waiting on announcement here it's truly ridiculous now.

There's importing a Wii and homebrew, but I'd really rather not have to resort to those just to play the one console JRPG this generation that sounds genuinely great.

I just watched an interview between GameTrailers and Reggie Fils-Aime (did I spell that right?) and he flat-out said that there are a bunch of Wii and DS games that they haven't even mentioned yet, that will show up later.
