To be honest, I don't think we'll know for sure for months short of something like Amazon dumping all pre-orders... though even then I imagine it's probable NoA would keep that in mind and pay close attention to European performance.

Also, I wish the Growlanser community was a tenth as devoted as Nintendo's. (Or as inventive.) We'd have gotten Growlanser 1 & 4 no problem.

Hmm.

Operation Wayfarer, anyone? :P

For Over Reloaded? Maybe.

Anywho, I'm glad this game is at least getting attention by NoA, but they need to think about their fans more. They need to know we want The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. What else is there to get on the Wii?

Uh... Radio Allergy 2? Wait, I think that's on 360.

Reginlev? Fatal Frame IV?

Can't get good information on the first, Reniglev is Japan only, and I don't like horror games.

Nope, it's a Wii game. Go go go!

(The original got a US release under the so-called 'Ultimate Shooting Collection'.)

What is the point of this? Are you... Are you trying to make me get other games in America? I am but a boy; I can only do so much.

For those of you who may of been fooled by the news saying that it's been confirmed, plz take a look at this forum thread full of the same automated canned responses which are one of the driving factors of all the fuss.  Especially considering that the NoA denied presentation report happened after most of these emails and many MANY more like it waaaayyyyy before E3.  This has been the same response since 2008!

It seems kind of strange to me. Nintendo of Japan and Nintendo of Europe are perfectly happy to take risks, but the second a risk comes up for Nintendo of America (on consoles, they seem to be pretty risk happy on handhelds, what with Dragon Quest and Glory of Heracles) they clam up and refuse to really say anything. I wonder what caused the split?

Google Yen to Dollar, NCL's simply getting less for our purchases than they did years ago! And stuff like Glory of Heracles and (undoubtedly) Dragon Quest could've been mandated by NCL whereas they didn't see it worthwhile to make Xenoblade a necessity to localize.

To be fair, that previous link was pretty obviously a fake post.

Seriously, I couldn't even see them changing the name back to Monado. Especially with the added draw of a misassociation to other various games with Xeno in its title.

You got double trolled buddy.

Pretty much the only reason they'd keep the name now is if this the Amazon thing actually did make them change their minds, and decided to bank on the recognition from it being pre-ordered under that title so much. Even then it's no big deal to change that item to be called "Xenoblade" or "Xenoblade Chronicles", whichever NoA prefers.

"Hey fans, we appreciate your enthusiasm. Look for more updates to come soon!" is the new message left by NoA on their facebook and twitter!  GoNintendo and Destructoid have been following this closely, special thanks to them for showing support!

I'm praying it does so astronomically well in europe that NoA will feel like localizing it it absolutely mandatory.

Call me crazy, but I'm more interested in playing Pandora's Tower. It looks far more original.
