I was psyched for the new Wild Arms remake when it still was "new".  Turned into a crappy remake however.  But anyways.

What game would you *kill* to see remade on an awesome HD screen?  With the state of the art sound, music, and graphics?

There are two games I've been dying for a remake of:  Earthbound and Secret of Mana

I can't think of much I'd REALLY like to see remade, but I'll go with this answer.  It's my favorite final fantasy and if I thought about it long enough, this is probably what I would eventually say.

:) In the midst of this FFVI jerk-fest I will nominate FFV as an underrated option for a remake.

Of course Suiko I and II would be nice too.... but I'd rather see another 2D Suiko than a new-ish interpretation of the first two Suikodens..

I would have to go with Dragon Force from the Sega Saturn.

Panzer Dragoon Saga. Great game, but it was way more ambitious than the Saturn's technology could really handle.

Radiant Silvergun (too bad that it will never happen).

It seems that is going to be a remake of Final Fantasy V... IN 3D!!

Respectfully disagree. I think the game is a masterpiece as-is. While a 3d era game like FF7 could use a modern remake, I think the classic 2d games are mostly amazing already. I wouldnt mind a spruced up version with more higher resolutions or something, but I think it would be butchered by SE's current team. I can't imagine how unemotional some of the scenes might become.
