Looks impressive. It reminds me a lot of Tales of Vesperia in those screens, though I'm betting the character animations are a lot better.

And the DS version is dated for December 9th in Japan, the PS3 version will follow in 2011. They said they're also going to try and make both versions unique in some ways, they have different subtitles and come with different spell books.

Thanks! Awesome trailer, looks great and fantastic music, especially the melody at that overworld part. Loving the "adventuring" feel.

It was announced well over a year ago for the DS, now I see it's coming for the PS3. Question is, I know you guys know a lot about japanese releases and what-not, but... how likely is it that this will seea U.S. release? Ghibli movies have a big cult following with Disney releasing most of them over here, but it doesn't seem like they are big enough here to warrant them releasing it here. Ponyo didn't do very well at the theatres here at all. I really hope it is released here, I bought Howl's Moving Castle 5 or 6 years ago... that was my first experience with Ghibli and then I got Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away and after that I said the hell with it and bought every Ghibli movie out there except that one they didn't release over here because the little girls talk about their periods in the movie... hahaha... I know at the very least I could get the Japanese DS version as it'll play on U.S. DS's, but I don't speak/understand Japanese. Maybe it'll have an English language option, I dunno... but I would definitely like to get the PS3 version
