Anyone else is excited for this new entry in the Parasite Eve series? I can't wait to get my dose of Aya Brea. Also, who is composing the soundtrack? or there's no information about this by now?

GOTY 2010. Can. Not. Wait.
And Yoko Shimomura herself is doing the OST. It will be godlike.

Totally agree!
Hell yes, Yggdrasil, the wait's getting even harder now that we've got that sweet trailer of Aya/PE goodness.
Been way too long since the last one.

It looks terrific! I never got a chance to play the old Parasite Eve games, unfortunately.

You're damn right I'm excited for this game! :D I've been waiting a decade for a new PE. I don't care how it plays (as long as it isn't just plain awful obviously), as long as I have my ambiance, Shimomura music, and Aya Brea (which is still the only Nomura design ever to not suck, IMO :P).

Parasite Eve is one my all time favorite games, so there's no way I'm missing this one. Day one for sure!
But since they said they are changing the gameplay AGAIN, I hope they try a style more like Resident Evil 4 or Uncharted, instead of that crappy that RE1 scheme they did in parasite eve 2.
I hated it back then, the controls of PE2, so I ended up not playing it, but this week I decided to dig it up (one of the few PS1 games I kept after selling my ps1).

Im not sure if I like her fashion in this one, I loved her so much in the other games because of her practicality in how she looked. Classy one minute, jeans the next, it made her seem more personable. Im still crazy excited, I finished the Chrysler Tower two years ago (finally) and that was a blast and loved every minute of earning the gunblade (which really wasnt that good, ill take the laser attachment anyday) in the second one.

Also, is that, Daniel Dollis in one of those screens?
My God, I thought I couldn't get any more excited for this than I already am.

Maaaaaaybe you should read the first post.

This is my most anticipated game out of E3. I can't wait to see more game play.

Got me. Whats this third birth business? Is she not human? I really don't know much about these games outside of playing the first one for a couple hours.
Regardless, the name sounds stupid and takes away from what looks like a cool game. Only a Japanese developer would give a subtitle like that. a Western developer would call it "re-awakening" or something cool like that.

I never had any opinion on the title. Seems fine to me. I don't know why that would affect your decision on playing it, honestly. Would you be playing it and be like "Man, this game is awesome!" ::glances at title:: "Wait, this game sucks!"
I never played the second title, because I heard it sucked, so I don't know anything about it. I don't recall her dying in the first game and being reborn again or anything.
