You're just being cryptic again. It's like soap opera sex. Lots of boring dialogue and when they finally do go to bed, everything's dark and covered by blankets.

If anyone's interested I'll be posting my thoughts on the game on my personal site for the next few days. I wrote way too much on this game for it to become a review, so I'm putting it on my site instead.

PC still looks the best of course
I'd still rather play  on a 42" screen with Dolby surround sound than on a 19" screen sitting in my computer chair.

You can play Dragon Age 2 (Superior PC version with High Resolution Textures) on a 42" screen. Your argument is invalid.

Yeah, let's not get into the comfy couch debate.

I'd rather not have my computer keyboard and mouse on my living room table.

Game works fine with a controller. Also wireless keyboards/mice ftw

Wow, you made Game Informer look sensible.

... And the person who went for the console list rather than the computer list would be playing in luxury rather than staring at a small pile of computer parts they can't use.

Thoren is like that alter ego of Andy Kauffman, Tony Clifton. You just aren't sure if you're supposed to take him seriously or not.

Interesting read.  I'm a bit surprised that you didn't mention how horrible the small things look. Like, year 2000 bad.  The NPCs that are filler, for example, or the skeletons sitting around on the coast - they all look like something from the early PS2 days.

I understand it's to save money because they are completely unimportant, but when you compare these "filler" NPCs to those in FFX, and FFX's look better, you know something is wrong.  It's not really a huge deal, but when your character has all of the detail and is standing next to a random NPC whose face is pretty much a pixel blob, it's distracting.

^ that setup would have a hard time running Witcher 2 at mid, let alone high.It would also die a dogs death chugging along trying to run Rift on medium/high settings.

You're assuming a computer can work without a motherboard.

... And it's best to wait and see what happens when the Witcher 2 comes out before figuring out what it can run at what settings.

well,  he left out alot of things like the case, psu, heatsink, disk drives etc. I was just pointing out that system he said was AAA+ was really dated. You can play a lot of games with it but you are not going to come close to playing on high settings with 1920x 1080 or higher res and having a solid 50-60 fps.
