God damn that's actually being shared here?
I think it's more an indicator that Bioware failed to accommodate anyone except maybe bisexuals that want to score with everyone with no effort. But I'll just have to play the game someday and see for myself, I've just heard of cases like being locked into "you can only flirt" scenarios with characters like Anders, regardless of gender.

I think making every character bisexual is stupid. I have nothing against bisexual/homosexual characters in games, but it cheapens the character diversity to simply have them all bisexual for the sake of it.
So stupid.

Is there anything bad/special happening if you romance every single character?

Didn't feel right that Anders was a potential male romance. He always seemed straight to me.
Fenris might make sense as a bisexual because of the relationship with him and Demarius.
His "little wolf"/trophy/slave history might entertain the idea that his master kept on a leash for more than just showing off his wealth.
Isabella was always bisexual so it made sense the entire time.
Merril is an innocent Dalish elf with no clue about relationships or romance.Surprised me she was even a potential date when I saw the heart logo come up.
Sebastian makes sense in every aspect including celibacy.
And bisexual Aveline was just ridiculous, she is kinda of a butch but not one of bioware's best ideas.

Except Aveline isn't a romance option, the hearts on the list
here
indicate who is/isn't romanceable. And as far as I know Sebastian's the only heterosexual option.

As a female, you can make a full pass at her.She doesn't object to the idea of FemHawke flirting with her but obviously had someone else's pants in mind for removal.
And yes Sebastian is the only hetero.
Frankly I think Varric was a good option for a hetero romance. He is charming, funny, straightforward and sticks with Hawke til the end.

I actually wonder if this is a combination of rushed/lazy writing, and/or a response to people being unable to romance certain characters due to gender. Curious to know if these relationships have the same dialogue either way.

This is a little... weird. I mean I understand being progressive and all, but not everybody is gay or bi. In fact the majority of people are straight. Maybe dragonage 2 takes place in the fantasy San Fran?

I think the "everyone is bi" thing comes from the combination of reducing development time (easier to make somebody bi than develop a whole new character for the homosexual option) and pandering to to the inevitable fan cries of "I wanted to sex up so-and-so" if you
don't
do it. So I can understand why, as a developer, Bioware would choose to go that way. But it doesn't seem terribly realistic. Of course, romances in Bioware games have never been realistic.

I would pre-order that.I could have more fun with dwarven porn than 40 hours of playing Dragon Age 2

All right, just make sure you put on armor and have strong teeth to bite on some wood.
I learned those lessons the hard way.

You can't flirt with Aveline. I mean, you CAN, but it all goes completely over her head.
Also, from what I remember, they made it so that if you were male, then Anders and Fenris were gay, but if you were female they were straight and the females were lesbian, or something to that effect. They aren't bisexual, their sexuality changes depending on your gender, kind of like which sibling dies depending on your job.

Anyway, it's a dread that nobody knows the name for, like those little square plastic gizmos that close your bread bags. I don't know the name for those either."
