To be fair though, they've been doing ridiculous proportions for characters since Odin Sphere at least. Its just harder to notice on male characters than female ones (holy crap Odin, what the fuck have you been taking to get that huge and swole).

Either way though, the Amazon is still fucking ridiculous.

Look at this! Her torso looks like its attached to the loins from the wrong side.

Even her walking animation doesn't help that much. At least the Sorceress doesn't look like she's constantly trying to twist her spine into the shape of a pretzel.

The woman looks ridiculous, I think its fair enough for anyone to be bothered by it. If characters look unnatural, people are allowed to comment on that. Not everyone can ... uh, appreciate the look of a woman who has two giant water balloons flopping around like they have a mind of their own.
