I think the bigger question here is where did he manage to keep that gift on him. We all know that even Sups can't just zip to the store or wherever he stored it (probably his fortress of solitude) without Bats noticing and Sups is weak against magic so he could've have pulled it off that way either. So logically the only possibilities that remain are that he had it somewhere on him the whole time or that Sups got a last second save by somebody else. Additionally we can further deduce that only a handful of JLers could have pulled off the support defend in a way that would fit that scene but moreover they also have to be as big of a dick as Sups is and if I recall correctly only the Martian Manhunter fits there criteria but there's no possible way that he could've pulled such a stunt off without Bats noticing and he's the real one to fool here. Therefore the only possible solution to this conundrum is that the one who supported Sups was in fact Sups himself; one from an alternate dimension that has a Bats who liked Zorro but stumbled upon a time space paradox that led him to this reality where he made the delivery anyways because Sups is a dick.
