Mind fuck movie of the decade. Hands down, I have great faith in Christopher Nolan to be the director of our generation.
This movie is brilliant, complex, and relate-able (specifically in how we feel about dreams). The cast was perfect, the action was top-notch and the dramatic bits were heart-felt and interesting.
10/10.
But the ending.... ... ... I hate having to debate.

Oh thank god it's good. I'm going to see it next week with the ball and chain.
I did have faith in him, since Batman is shot beautifully I just wasn't sure if the movie would be any good.
I'm glad it is.

I went there. I don't regret the extra coin - helped me understand it better and is quite the experience (plus, I didn't pay, say I break even still I suppose).

I just saw it last night. Great movie! The best movie I've seen in a long time. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD so I can watch it over and over again. I wouldn't say the movie is complex. The ideas presented are complex, but Nolan presented them in a fairly simple way, I think.
Speaking of Chris Nolan movies, has anyone seen Memento? That's one of my favorite movies of all time.

My D&D group went to see it on opening night. Gonna get their opinion on it first probably. I only wanna see it cause Ellen Page and Leonardo Dicaprio are awesome.

The wife and I went on Saturday.
A review I wrote On FB:
This is probably the best movie I've seen in the past couple years. Super high production values, great acting all around, and a damn creative premise. Based on early reviews I was concerned that it might be a bit of a mind bender, but it really wasn't that hard to follow. I am actually in awe that Nolan was able to pull this off so well. I had a few minor nitpicks, but nothing that really takes anything away from the movie. A brilliant film that everyone must see.

Just came back from seeing this. I think we can all generally agree that - aside from one or two points (like Dice, I hate having to debate an ending) - Inception is an amazing film. One of my favourite scenes was
Code:
when Arthur was fighting off security through the hotel corridors while gravity was being fucked up in the first dream level.
May go see it again. :P

Just back from seeing it like 5 minutes ago with my boyfriend. He loved it, I loved it. It is everything everyone said it has, we debated the ending with each other and firmly decided that
Code:
We don't know. In some scenes he has a wedding band, in others he doesn't. I don't know what this means, I need to watch it again, knowing what I know. I'm really torn. Initially I was pretty sure it was all just a dream, and that Mal was correct and when she jumped off the building, she infact woke up in the real world. But that top looked like it was going to topple before the screen went black. Of course that doesn't mean much because all the Totem does is tell you if your in someone else's dream, nothing about how to tell if you are in your own dream.
Argh. Headache. I don't know. I'm a little more inclined to say it was reality now, rather than all a dream.

After going over the conclusion for the umpteenth time:
Code:
We decided that it was reality in the end. Mostly because he didn't just appear in his ideal situation (they go through the motions) and also because he's not wearing a wedding ring, whereas he has it on in all dreams including the limbo scene with Watanabe's character. I could be wrong but... eh, fuck it. I'm just glad his character got what he wanted in the end, regardless.

I think the term you're looking for is "movie of the forever."

That's the way I read the ending.
