Sounds good.  I've always wanted to play the original after I played Knight of Lodis on the GBA.

Hopefully Square brings this over here. I'll have to kill them if they don't. Man, this is so cool. Tactics Ogre is one of my favorite games. I wonder how much they're going to rework. Is the soundtrack going to be completely remade,or just brought up to PSP standards? The music was awesome in the first place. I can't wait to hear it with much better sound quality.

This is relevant to my interest, what do you think Pikachu?

"Pika pi".

...you are right Pikachu. Don't ever trust in Square Enix until you've played the game... those bastards and their remakes.

Team Tactics Ogre Details PSP Remake (from andriasang).

A lot of info has been posted about this "rebuilding" of the game (nope, this is not a remake according to the developers), a good read for anyone interested in this.

I look forward to Vyse (or is it Vice, been so long since I last played can't even remember) being a massive douche again. God he was awesome for a prick.

Yeah, he was. He was a great villain. Could I call him a villain? I guess it depends on what path you chose.

That was a great read. Thanks, Yggdrasil. It's got me even more hyped.

You're welcome.

I'm getting more and more interested in this game the more I read about it, not to mention that Matsuno alone is making a lot of people happy with his involvement in the project. I wonder if after this game is released we are going to see a remake or something about Vagrant Story.

Exciting times are exciting.

I must have missed this lesson in my Ridiculous Marketing Semantics class, but what the heck is the difference?

Square Enix just announced an American release for the game. They're keeping the old subtitle for the game. It's still called Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.

from Siliconera:

Quote
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together Confirmed for North America:

Square Enix, wasting no time, announced the PSP reimagining of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for North America. The US name drops the Wheel of Fortune subtitle, but has all of the same features including the new not-yet-explained Wheel of Fortune system.

The PSP version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has a re-arranged soundtrack with 15 new compositions, redrawn 3D maps that emphasize height, larger battles, a battle skill ability, new classes, and new characters like Raveness.

A release date for Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together was not announced for North America or Japan.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's official... this game is going to be worth to look forward to. Also, the artwork is amazing and I don't own a PSP.
