Move is beginning to impress me

Check out the videos on these 2 articles:
http://dualshockers.com/2010/07/21/never-before-seen-ps-move-tech-demo-is-amazing/
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-future-of-playstation-move-article
I know that saying good things about a motion controller isn't the cool thing to do but am I the only one curious to try this?

I feel like the Wii set a poor precedent for motion controls when it comes to serious gamers. I bought a Wii on launch and I only have a few games for it. I bought more than that to try and returned all the rest. The three I do have don't even use motion controls.
Sure, the PS Move is more accurate and flashier, but I'd put money on the games still not being that good. Or, games that are typically good will start to use the motion controls as a gimmick for weird mini-games.

I would characterize myself as 'cautiously optimistic' about the Move. But actually, that's more than I can say about any of the other motion-control options.
The Move gets a lot of flak for being a wiimote-clone...and in some sense it is. But Sony didn't just copy the wiimote, they significantly improved upon it. The key feature of the Move is
precision
, and precision makes all the difference between being a useful control scheme for 'hardcore' gamers and just flailing around. And it's the flailing around that everyone hates about motion controls.

Keep pushing those buttons, it's hilarious.

Yeah that was funny.
But all the cool ideas I see for the Move come in the form of Tech Demos. Unless they make a real game that uses the Move's accuracy in a unique way, I won't be impressed. Even Echocrome II doesn't look that impressive.
You wanna know the kind of game I'm talking about? Ok here's an example: The Elder Scrolls V.
Imagine controlling the sword and shield as accurately as in those tech demos. And if you get tired of moving too much you can use regular controls! GENIOUS right there!
If Move is perfect for something, it is swordplay. The ideas are endless, but too bad shovelware will dominate.

Gonna try it out at a friend's house tonight. He told me the games he's got so far are something something Sports and something something Kong Fu. Impressions later.

Time Crisis: Razing Storm (I don't recommend this one, demo is clunky as hell)
Sorcery
Heroes on the Move (kinda like Smash Bros., but with Playstation mascots)
No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise

No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise is the only reason to get this thing. Either way, I'm still not all that interested in the Move.
