As far as I know, don't complete EVERYTHING, and you don't get the true ending. If I say much more regarding it, I may blow story up.
Thanks for the advice. But does that mean the game has only two ultimate endings?

I looked into it, and to get the true ending, you have to get all the other endings (10 in total). Now to get each ending, you have to complete a certain side mission which I won't get into detail about. Technically, the real ending is just another scene after the regular ending, but again, I like the normal ending, it's very heroic in itself.

Is it just me, or does the term "heroic" have a bad connotation to it nowadays??

ie; it connotes to a "heroic death" more than an act.

I prefer to think of it as a

heroic sacrifice
But yeah, it's not as freqeunt to see this kind of ending, and when done right, it's pretty emotional as well. They nailed it here, honestly.

I bought this goddamn game without a DS. It better be good as I leave myself to overhype until my bro gives it back (which will be soon; I have leverage with Tactics Ogre, a game he loves more than me.... I already started a file...with a very inappropriate name for Denim that I'm proud of).

I want to play this game soon but I'm still in the middle of FFIV which I am enjoying and I really can't stand starting too many games at once...I find that I end up not finishing any of them and then revisting them years later only to restart them. I have heard on other "non-rpg sites" that the graphics are quite poor for this game. Some referred to it as a 16bit snes style. Graphics are not that big a deal to me but I did find that interesting in that most "rpg fans" think the graphics are very good.

I'm in the same situation as you. I want to start it but I'm afraid I'll drop something for good. On the DS I'm playing Ghost Trick, and since it isn't that lengthy I'll try to beat it first.
About the graphics they look good to me. The only way they wouldn't look good is if compared to games on other platforms.

Well, I feel the graphics are awesome from an artistic perspective, but they are certainly not "pushing the system to it's limits." I think that's where that contradiction is coming from.

RPGFan has a chat? I haven't seen it. I guess I'll either have to search for it or one of you could link me... I can already feel everyone sighing at the linking part, so I'll try and find it on my own.
