short for "futanari." It literally means "two-form" but is androgynous or hermaphrodite.
Thanks, I was scared to google it incase something that gave me nightmares pops up.
Try bara.
I fail to see what the problem is ;)

Current example: Girl whines about being single all the time, she starts dating a guy she considers to be great. A guy who visited her house to give her a hug before he went to work. The problem?
He doesn't own a car or know how to drive one
.
What the hell has to be wrong inside your head for that to be an issue? The mind fucking boggles.
I've known her for over a year now and I honestly did not know she was crazy.
I don't find it completely unreasonable to stop dating someone that doesn't drive/have a license. I would be annoyed having to be the one to always pick up/drop off the guy, worry about gas, etc. How old is he?
Well... if she really did like him, maybe she should've at least helped him get his license... *shrug* Or just move on and find a guy that does drive.

Well, if it is such a big deal to her, maybe she should learn to drive herself? She is 18. So is he.
I maybe should mention that none of my friends drive, I don't drive, she doesn't drive, my dad didn't learn to drive until he was in his 30's. I don't think anyone I went to school with knows how to drive yet.
I don't want to generalize, but I do live in the UK, and public transport is the way most teens - mid-twenties travel. Everything is much closer together than say the vast stretches of nothingness in the USA or Australia. I remember my Australian friend always going on about how she can't believe teenagers in our town didn't want to drive, when apparently it was a big deal for her and her friends.
A car would be impractical and expensive for us, when it costs me only £3 to travel into Glasgow by train, or £2 to get a return ticket to my college and back. If she was American, I would understand because its far more practical and there is a social aspect to it, but she isn't.
Also, as an update: she is still going out with him, but is still moaning about his lack of driving ability. I think she just wants to complain and that guy is so near practically perfect that its sickening that she is hard up for things to moan about. She does love to complain.

I can't even imagine my life without a driver's license, driving is just as natural to me as walking, not to mention it's a mandatory requirement for my job.
Almost everyone I know got the license as soon as they turned 18. I'm surprised to see so many people here without it.

You must not live in a city. I have my license but have been without a car for years, and quite frankly don't want one at all. I don't actually live in NYC anymore, so it's a pain in that regard, but I certainly don't miss driving on the roads in NYC. I'd so much rather take a bus/train/walk than deal with cars.
And I do really think that a girl having a problem with a guy not having a license in an area where driving is clearly not an issue is pretty freaking stupid.

I'm being pushed by my parents into getting my driver's license this year.
I spend most of my time between two big cities where driving isn't really necessary (and in the case of London, probably worth avoiding) but I guess it would be nice to at least have the legal qualification. Never know if I'll need it and maybe it'll open some new activities for me.
I can see why some women would have a problem with their guy not having a license... but by "some women", I mean the demographic of ladies who wouldn't consider seriously dating a man who didn't own a car in the first place. Personally, it wouldn't matter to me unless it came down to living somewhere less cosmopolitan- or living a lifestyle where not having a car would be inconvenient.

If not anything else, a driver's license is a very useful form of identification in a bazillion circumstances.

You can still get an ID card without a driver's license. I just keep renewing my temps ever year.

I would hate being at the mercy of public transit. With my own car I get to go where I want, when I want.
Cab drivers are generally insane and drive like such(Chicago ones, anyway)
Riding a bus or train means you have to share space with a bunch of other mopes. No, thanks.
Plus, I'd rather listen to my music on a stereo than earbuds.
All that being said, I can totally see the advantages of not having a car in a big city. I just don't think I could do it.
I live in the burbs of Chicago, so I don't have a choice anyway.
Around here a girl would totally laugh at a guy who didn't have a license or a car. Unless all your dates are in the basement, you NEED them.

Yikes, I'm way too paranoid to do that. I'd be afraid to lose mine. :(

Malaysians have national ID cards (at least anyone who has ever been past the 6th or 9th grade does because we
need
the cards to sit for exams in those grades). Here in the U.K. they have started to issue Identity Cards for Foreign Nationals (ICFN) to carry around, so most international students use that.

I could lose a lot of things, I would rather lose my passport than my wallet.
If I lose my passport I report it missing and get a new one. If I lose all my money, bank cards, my library card, college card, keys, etc. It's a bigger deal.

I see what you mean. I'm less likely to lose my purse (because I use it so often) though. I'm mostly afraid of losing my passport because getting it replaced at the M'sian Embassy while I'm here would be a major pain. :-/

Well that makes sense that you all live in a super urban area where public transporation is just smarter and more common... I live in Las Vegas, where having a car is essential to go anywhere. Public transportation here sucks balls and due to poor city planning it's impossible to walk anywhere, not to mention the unbearable weather.
