I actually liked unlimited saga, although I'm using "liked" in the past tense sense here since I've found most fondness with me is vestigial.

Id be happy with the same composer and the same water color artist, SaGa Frontier 2 still takes my breath away with its changes to combat and story telling let alone art direction. I miss those mature stories they used to put out...

Would be awesome to see that :)

I have to agree with those who loved Frontier 2 and would like to see a 3rd installment. The art style in that game was fantastic! RomancingSaga2 was my first import for SNES, so I have much love for the series, but I think that I nearly destroyed my reset button while playing it O_o

I would absolutely love to see the Saga series come back. Like most people here I love Saga Frontier II, art, music, combat, everything was great about that game. Gustav is nodoubt one of my favourite RPG characters ever. The first Saga Frontier takes a special place in my heart as one of the few RPGs I played prior to Highschool and it holds a huge nostalgia factor for that reason. It needed more direction IMO and it would have worked better if the plots had more connection, but good game nonetheless. So yeah, I gotta support the idea of a third Saga Frontier.

as forI played FF:Legends, but I didn't try SNES saga games accept for Romancing Saga II, which was Japanese. I kinda liked it, but I never really got what I was doing and after a few hours I gave up. I'm not sure why I started with RS:II either, I probably just read it's description on Wikipedia.

Whomever suggested Last Remnant, I will have to agree it definately has the Spiritual Successor thing down. I mostly enjoyed the game although I found it's Middle quite dull and some battles where way too long/I was doing it wrong.

Fun fact: I actually had a much harder time getting into SaGa Frontier 2 than I did U. Saga, mostly because I found SGF2 to be genuinely more difficult and a lot more confusing in a lot of ways (U. Saga has odd rules for certain things but they behave pretty consistently when you know them. I don't think I ever felt comfortable with a lot of the mechanics in SGF2. Like, the three different combat modes, or how skills were sharable, or that stuff with the chips..?)

On the other hand it was gorgeous and had a pretty similar feel to LoM and I'm pretty sure I'd like SGF2's mechanics once I really gave them a good college try (hahah college doesn't involve effort), and I mean, that might help deal with cognitive dissonance I feel about LoM.

Hi I am retarded.

(LoM was pretty much a SaGa game anyway, really, but without the ruthless difficulty and fast combat. SIGH).

Awesome!! I hope that it's really good like the Saga Frontier games or the Romancing Saga 1 remake, and that it actually comes out in the US.
