Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

the official website;

hey what's your impression on the trailer so far? Are you going to watch it during the first week at theater?

As a huge fan of the series I'm very excited about this movie. I just hope they won't ruin the movie like they did with many other survival horror titles (Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead)

Anyway I would like to hear your impression, mostly if you're a Silent Hill fan :D

I think the trailer looks good.

I'm not a big fan of the games, just because I'm too much of a pansy to play them :P I'll probably end up seeing the film though, because movies generally don't scare me outside of cheap jumps. Hopefully it'll be decent.

I'll end up going, depending on the reviews.  If I don't see it in the movie theaters then I'll see it on dvd.

The trailers look very promising.  It also has Sean Bean whom I adore.  But I don't want to get my hopes up.  I've been disappointed many a time by video game to movie adaptations.

Oh and I've played SH2 and got the soundtrack to SH3.

I loved the first teaser, where they used camera angles reminiscent to the game's, and had that Silent Hill grain effect. The theatrical trailer makes it look more like a regular horror flick with Silent Hill elements in it. A bit disappointing. Still, if the teasers and trailers are anything to go by it does seem like it'll be pretty good, as far as game-to-movie adaptions go.

Don't think I'll shell out the money to go see it in the cinema, though.

It has Pyramid Head in it, that alone makes me want to see this.

Christophe Gans is a huge fan of Silent Hill and Akira Yamaoka liked the film, so I'm not all that worried about it.

I'm not worries too. The movie seems to have a lot of potential. I'm happy to hear the Pyramid Head is in the movie.

This is by far, the most promising game movie trailer I've seen in years. The game has a tonne of cinematic elements to begin with, so I'm REALLY hoping they translate well.

And for the first time, I think, ever, I'm happy with the director. No Boll or Anderson to fuck things up. I thought Gans' last movie, Brotherhood of the Wolves, was excellent.
