Obviously the first thing they do when they enter the town is go inside every single house and take all the items and money they can find, they also talk to every person inside every house just to check if they have anything useful to say but nobody knows anything about rosa. The fact that they were just robbed doesn't seem relevant to them either.

In the middle of town, Hiro spots a female wielding a magic staff(the future group mage) who is wearing revealing battle armor, that is quite impractical for fighting, yet it works out. She also has an unusual hair color and design, which rally stands out amongst the crowd, who all look relatively the same and unimportant.

It turns out the mage (Luna) has traveled from the city where they do nothing but study, all day, every day, to look for her mentor, who went on a pilgrimage months ago and never returned. She decides joining your merry band will be safer to travel with, even though you are currently being hounded by the forces of evil.

So we now have hiro, miles, bob, mary and luna trying to find some sort of clue about rosa or the handkerchiefs, this is mary's hometown so the gang follows her advice of paying a visit to the town's elder...

The elder offers our heroes tea, and while promising to give them whereabouts of handkerchief#2, tells them that they must first listen to his tales of an ancient prophecy...

A mysterious man appears from nowhere and attacks the elder before they get the information the were seeking. A haunting tune plays and the game's primary antagonist (Balrog) introduces himself. "You'll never save you're beloved friend, and the world as we know it must be destroyed in order to be born anew. It's our only way to salvation!! And your friend is the key!" said Balrog. He then disappears even though at his current level he could've wiped out the entire party. To their surprise the town's elder was still alive and uttered a few words before dying...

Fortunately the enchanted fortress is just a few steps away on the world map so after buying the best gear for every party member (which required running in circles for hours outside the town to grind for money) the party decides to spend the night at the inn and go to the forest the next morning. In the middle of the night, someone knocks on hiro's door...

...you open the door to reveal either Luna or Mary (Sue), depending upon which one you've been treating better. If you've treated both of the ladies poorly, you will share an awkward male-bonding moment with Bob.

But it is indeed luna. She says she's feeling lonely and wants to talk. Though hiro has been treating her well (hence the visit) hiro is tired and wants to sleep so he dismisses luna with a simple "if there isn't going to be any sex STFU and go away".
"Damn, I knew I should've gone with mary, maybe there's still time, this is supposed to be an 80 hour quest"
Eventually the sun rises and the party marches toward the enchanted forest...

The quest continues the next morning, without further talk about the awkward happenings the day before (especially if you got the Bob-date). When they reach the forest entrance, Mary comments on the spooky aura she feels emanating from it. Luna confirms that she feels an evil presence from deep within the forest, using her magic.
Bob however, spots a large pheasant, and decides to chase after it, into the wood claiming that they will feast like kings around the camp fire tonight. Bob is temporarily removed from the party, strange though, you have all his equipment back. He must have stripped naked before running after said pheasant.

A giant ugly dragon eats the pheasant and tries to kill everyone. With perfect timing, a scantily clad woman meant only for fanservice and comic relief shows up to kick its ass. Bob comes back into the party because he's a pervert and wants to get lucky with this woman.
(could we have branching plotlines so this thread never ends?)

This sexy and heavy drinking woman introduces herself as Taressa. She had also been looking for the handkerchiefs. Turns out she's not only fanservice and comic relief, but also a plot device, for she has been tracking down the locations of these hankercheifs for hopes of big moolah, and knows the location of the of the handkerchief after the current one, at the very least. But just as she joins the party...
(Yeah, branching plotlines would be interesting. I vote 'yes' to that.)

The dragon breathes fire at Taressa, somehow only burning off all of her clothes and receiving no burns.

And Hiro once again jumps to fight tooth and nail for the life and honor of a woman he only met 5 seconds ago. Of course how Luna, Mary, Rosa, Miles and Bob feel about this...
