I don't know what I want more, a Heroes of M&M VI or a M&M IX.
Either way, I want
something

I've only played a bit of V, my computer couldn't handle it, but I like the concept and gameplay was interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing a new one. Besides Disciples and Kings Bounty I don't know any other games that are like this.

And Disciples 3 is shit. That was quite a disappointment for me since I loved 2.

Do you like Disciples 2 or Magic V. I was always torn between which one to purchase but chose Magic.

If you want to really enjoy a HHOM&M game might as well get 3. Disciples 2 was pretty fun too, and it's dirt cheap on Steam I think. They play differently too, Disciples 2's combat system isn't grid based, it has the whole 4x elements with the world map, but the battles are like an old school turn based RPG, which I thought was pretty cool.
Or you could wait until the end of the month and get Elemental : War of Magic, although it's closer to the Civ games.

Elemental looks so awesome lol. I saw some footage a few months ago and graphically it looked pretty bland, but the concept was pretty cool. I trust Stardock to deliver a great game though, so I'll probably pick it up.

I was crack-addicted to HoMM3 for a while. Such an awesome game. V was alright, but I preferred the 2D look of III. IV was like the awkward transition.
Personally I'd rather this be an old-school style new entry in the main series just because we've had plenty of new HoMM-esque games. King's Bounty is probably better than HoMM6 would be.

I just checked out the trailer that they have for Elemental: War of Magic at their site. The trailer looked very underwhelming to say the least. I'm going to try and find a walkthrough video or something to make sure this game has promise.
