It's not going to get a released outside Japan (Well, I hope it will get to the US anyway). Everyone knows classification boards don't like anime sex. That pretty much means it won't get a released down here. But then, everything gets ban down here.

Though it could get a release. My knowledge of USA classification is fairly limited. I just know Australia sucks with ratings.

You don't see the sex in Mass Effect. It's basically just implied. That isn't 'anime' sex though. It's animated sex. :P

Classification boards don't like 'anime sex' because, let's face it, a lot of anime sex involves characters under 18.  These characters are actually adults so that shouldn't be a problem.

Heavy Rain had a full interactive sex scene (far more explicit than the likes of Mass Effect or Dragon Age) and it made it to the US uncensored.

You're absolutely right. However (at least in Aus), the character only has to appear under the age of 18 for it to be illegal. And exactly what that means is open to interpretation. So even assuming Catherine is in her twenties or thirties, if out classification board decide she looks too young (which they often do with anime) it'll be kicked.

and, of course, that's only the games that companies have actually tried to have released down here. There have even been calls to ban Mass Effect 1 and Modern Warfare 2, but both were released without any censorship in the end.

It's been awhile since I was actually excited for a game, before seeing actual game-play. :P Hope they get some game-play stuff up soon. I'm VERY interested in this title.

Hi all, new to the boards.  :)

As for the game, it seems interesting, but already a strike in being Action-RPG than turn-based. Love my turn-based games. But it's by no means a no buy for me. Will have to see more about it before deciding.

I don't even think it's a RPG.  The descriptions I've read say Horror/Action/Adventure.

I'm hoping for more Horror/Adventure, myself. I'm sick of all of the Horror/Action, but anything that has "horror" in it I'll usually enjoy.
