This game is gonna be ace.

My only problem is pretty much what Hathen mentioned. Sure it looks like the story will be fun to go through, but what's after that? Either way, I'm fine with buying the game and paying a month or two so I can get some story done.

Also, did they ever announce a release date? Or is it still "sometime is early 2011"?

Each class has 5 talent trees. You start with one and then you pick an advanced class and gain access to 2 extra ones. Pretty kickass no?

Most betas are pretty shitty as far as I know, heh.

This was pretty bad though, and I've been apart of 4 other betas for MMOs. You would get stuck in the floor or walls just moving around, or, the camera would stay in "transportation" mode even when you stopped using that movement. The game seemed almost not quite ready to be in beta testing.

First Warzone PvP footage

That looks pretty tasty =D

I'm usually against that type of "round robin" battleground/warzone/senario PvP.  I like it best when it's open-world and objective based.  Still, this particular warzone seems a bit more creative than your standard capture the flag.

I'm still not sure what to think about that running animation for dual-wielders.  Wish they'd work on the animations a bit more, because they still look a little too stiff and robotic.  FFXIV sucks in many aspects, but their animations are incredible.

Yeah the animations are kind of stiff. Hopefully they clean them up a bit.

Even then though thats like the last thing I'd worry about with a new MMO

I'll play the game, shitty animations or not, but it's a component that helps with immersion.  What good is trolling jedi losers if I don't look badass.

I wonder how they'll handle cross-faction communication

Crafting info/video
http://swtor.com/info/systems/crew-skills

Crafting in SW:TOR is handled by your crew members upon your ship, or alongside with you for gathering. After all, Darth Vader wouldn't mine some ore from a node now would he?

Looks pretty good! You can also assign them to go out on their own and auto-scavenge. So good.

The Crew system in general is really unique, feels like a real single player RPG.
