'Stone Age Square Battle' starts an RPG timewarp!

Just a heads-up to everyone. What was formerly known as 'RPG2' is now officially called 'Stone Age Square Battle'. A few of the pics on the main site www.graveltrain.com are updated to reflect the change, and if you click the 'Blogger' button on the main page, you can follow it to a new news post.

Wow, really?  So this is actually a parody/comedy type game?  That's what the name suggests.

I have an idea of what you mean as far as the title goes, but you'd have to elaborate. As far as the parody/comedy elements, as the aforementioned news post suggests, those elements have been reduced. The overall tone of the game is lighthearted, but there are some twists and turns.

Square Battle is meant as a playful jab at grid based SRPGs, right? 

Parody games are novel, but getting to be overdone in my opinion.  However, I think it's pretty clever to have a prehistoric setting and intentionally portray RPG mechanics in their unevolved forms... So I'm still interested.
