My favorite television character has to be Jack Bauer from 24. The show itself is pretty ughs in the plot department, but you can't help but love Jack Bauer for being such a bad ass. Whenever I play Mass Effect, I always think Commander Shepard=Jack Bauer in space.

The same goes for Adama.

Well if I meant Lee I would have said Lee. Usually when I hear someone says Adama it always refers to Bill. But that's who I meant anyways. Also I mean the new BSG, not the original 1978 show.

For those of you who keep listing The Doctor.

Please specify which one.

Well I like Number 7 and the new one.

I meant all his forms in general, but my favourite was Tennant's Doctor.

Danger Man (aka Secret Agent Man) star Patrick McGoohan is probably my all time favorite.  Since it was prime time tv in the 60s, you didn't have the booze or women, so you really needed an actor who could pull it off with style.  And McGoohan ended up way cooler than 007 IMHO!

Richard Castle, from Castle.

Dr. Cox, from Scrubs.

House used to be up there, but his show kind of devolved as the years went by.
