When it comes to AV and AB, Shamans don't really turn the tide of the BG's, but with WSG, they really turn the tide because Earth Bind Totems + Ghost Wolf = Win....
I can see this being particularly helpful for any wsg game below level 40, i think most shaman would trade it for blessing of freedom anyday :).
And I forgot the macro offhand, but any druid can kill totems easily. It's something like:
/target Earthbind totem
/target <rest of totems>
/cast Moonfire (rank 1)
or something like that. really effective.. if by the odd chance you actually have a druid in wsg.
