Another true sequel without proper HD treatment...

Table of Contents from Famitsu's  latest issue:-

From Andriasang:-

Quote
Vaklyria Chronicles 3 is for PSP

Hoping to see Valkyria Chronicles return to PS3 with its third installment? Then some disappointing news from Famitsu. The magazine's table of contents confirms that the third entry in the series is coming to PSP.

This update is just from the magazine's table of contents. Details will follow.

So what do you guys think? A new VC is better than nothing, right?

sega is clearly full of dumbasses to not realize this should be a PS3 game (they should have paid attention to fans about this)

Methinks they paid more attention to sales and development costs :(

Dear God.  It's like...it's like they want to make money on their games or something.  Bunch of jerks, wanting to feed their families.

I'm glad it's on handheld.  I play my PSP and DS a lot more then I play my consoles, so this will fit right into my schedule.  As soon as I fit VC2 into my schedule, anyway.

Is nice when you buy an expensive PS3 to play that awesome game and then the sequels come out in another system that you don't care or you can't buy.

Stay classy Sega.

I'd think Sega would've started this series on PSP if they wanted to save on things like production costs to make it, and I don't have a PS3 yet anyway.
this way, they could build up a fanbase made up of people that own a system which is cheaper than PS3 and supposedly sold better too.
I read some things about the first one being sold out and Sega america was unable to sell any more, though I've also read it had really bad sales.
about that VC2/analog thing according to the manual, the analog stick only optional (that i know of)

Looks like they've totally three-quel'd it up with a main female wearing a short skirt and blazer into war!!  Very smart!!!

Well, they've lost at least one sale then. Liked the first one, didn't like the second one. Therefore I'll be avoiding the third if it's on PSP.

They've lost two. VC is the leading runner for disappointment of the year. I'd review it and bash it, but I didn't beat it.

Bah!  Oh well, I haven't played II yet but i'll more than likely love II like with VC's.  I'll be buying this on Day One.

Wait? That's not the Sega I know! They used to be all about pride and not giving a fucking shit of anything outside of Japan or this thing called business sense. What the hell happened in this last decade?

Yes you do.  The d-pad serves roughly the same function but in slow motion (it's for fine adjustments).  I would not recommend walking through an enemy's line of fire using only the d-pad...

Back to the topic at hand, if you actually read more than just the name of the system it's on in that Andriasang article it sounds pretty darn good to me.  I know I will pick it up.  But hey, I seem to be in the minority around these parts in actually liking VC2 (though oddly in agreement with most of the gaming press for once...).

Edit:  I guess it wasn't clear but I was talking about this Andriasang article.
