Okay, so my dad started screwing around with ShoutCast streams a while ago, and he wants to put together a Hard Rock/Metal stream.

I want you guys to name bands and specific albums that I should be going out to buy.

Already on the list:

Black Sabbath
Iron Maiden
Led Zeppelin
Metallica
Judas Priest
Dragonforce
Devin Townsend
Guns & Roses
Alice in Chains
Soundgarden
Rage Against The Machine
Motorhead
Hawkwind
Slayer
Iced Earth
Blind Guardian

give me some more to add...

King Diamond would be a good choice, although I'm the wrong person to ask for an album recommendation.

Maybe get Muse's latest album, Black Holes and Revelations.

And to add a bit of variety, get some female-fronted bands, like Lacuna Coil or Nightwish.

Oh, and if you can get hold of it, get 'I' by Nightingale. Great album.

EDIT: More for the power metal camp:

Helloween
Gamma Ray
Sonata Arctica
Stratovarius
Primal Fear
Manowar :P

I see a definite need for some Mercyful Fate.  "Melissa" is their best-known work.  King Diamond might work too, although you really need to listen to his albums in their entirety to get the full effect.

Some Anthrax would probably be a smart move, but you'll have to get a recommendation from someone who can actually tolerate those fucks. :P

Megadeth, Symphony X, Pantera, Down, and Kamelot are good choices.

If you need any more:

Demons and Wizards
Elvenking
Edguy
Nightwish
Within Temptation
Ayreon or possibly some Star One might be good too.
